Approach
Since our origin in 1988 as a small, privately owned NZ business to a thriving NZ business today we have maintained our core focus of working in close partnership with a limited number of high quality advisers providing them with an advice philosophy and corresponding portfolio management philosophy.
My background of working with large companies, advisory firms and their clients over the formative years of our industry has enabled me to identify and work closely with our business partners and their challenges.
Our advice philosophy is built on the simple premise that our clients are individuals with unique goals, needs and attitudes. In an increasingly complex world the need for New Zealanders to seek high quality advice and guidance has never been greater. Our objective is to ensure our business partners are able to intensely focus clients on identifying, defining and quantifying their needs, goals, and preferences.
Our responsibility as a portfolio manager is to develop and manage portfolios tailored specifically to integrate with the goal categories defined by the advice process. Each of these portfolios is managed with a balanced emphasis on capital preservation and the prudent pursuit of returns.
My motivating objective is to work in conjunction with our business partners to develop a business that delivers the above to New Zealanders.
